Join our election team as a Poll Technology Specialist responsible for managing and supporting voting equipment. You'll oversee tabulators, ePoll books, modems, and printers at polling locations.

Contract: Feb 3rd, 2025 (TBD)
Duration: 4 weeks
Incentives: Completion Bonus & Mileage

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate with Elections HQ for technology deployment and setup.
  2. Maintain equipment quality standards and troubleshoot technical issues.
  3. Support staff with technical problems and liaise with Technical Support.
  4. Assist with ePoll Book organization and logistics.
  5. Travel within the district to resolve equipment issues.
Requirements:
  1. Field technician or technical support background.
  2. Proficient with hardware, Windows OS, networking, and Office 365.
  3. Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides.
  4. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  5. Valid driver's license and personal vehicle for equipment transport.
  6. Ability to lift 45 lbs.
  7. Must be 18+ and eligible to work in Canada.
  8. Must work all days during contract - 100% availability required (weekends included).
Education:
  1. DCS/DEC required.
