Job Description

Capgemini Canada is seeking a Western Canada Data & AI Market Leader based in Calgary Alberta. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the vital link between business needs and technological innovation, leveraging diverse emerging solutions to deliver practical, value driven outcomes for the client in the Energy & Utilities Sector. The Western Canada Market Data & AI Market Leader role is directly responsible for building AI & data capabilities to address the needs of new and existing clients. The incumbent will lead the successful growth of AI, Data & Analytics solutions within Western Canada. This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to communicate how Data & AI can be effectively leveraged to deliver business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

Go-To-Market :

  • Define and execute the Data & AI Go to Market Strategy, ensuring alignment with global corporate objectives and business goals.
  • Accountable for GTM and Value Creation activities in Western Canada.
  • Partners with the industry leaders to develop PoVs that demonstrate the depth of Capgemini’s AI, Data & Analytics capabilities.
  • Partner with business development executives to create tailored data & AI value propositions that address the complex needs of enterprise clients across western Canada.

Strategy & Thought Leadership :

Inspire and educate both clients and internal teams about the latest trends and innovations in data & AI technologies (Databricks, Azure, OpenAI, Mistral, etc) , positioning Capgemini as a leader in the market.

Build and maintain strategic relationships with Technology Partners and key stakeholders to ensure Capgemini remains a leading partner.

Advance the AI & Data brand of Capgemini in Western Canada though curated media & public speaking opportunities.

  • Build and nurture trusted relationships with key enterprise clients, serving as a strategic advisor and partner in their AI transformation journey.
  • Help clients unlock the full potential of AI investments, offering insights and strategies that lead to success.
  • Mentor, Coach & Develop an growing team of Data Engineers, Data Scientist, Data Architects & Data Analyst
  • Develop a Talent Acquisition strategy to attract top Data & AI professionals across Western Canada.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Data Science, or related field
  • Master’s degree in business or related field
  • Strong knowledge of modern Cloud Data Estates (Azure, Databricks, AWS, Snowflake)
  • Advanced knowledge practical applications of AI
  • Passion for developing innovative solutions leveraging emerging technologies including Gen AI & Agentic AI
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
