Job summary

Ambipar Group is seeking an experienced Hydrovac/Combo Truck Operator to join our Western Canada operations in the Edmonton area. You will operate equipment, perform pre-trip checks, and follow safety procedures on daylighting and HDD projects, with 24/7 support from maintenance and safety teams.

The role offers competitive pay, vacation pay, health benefits, and advancement opportunities. A Class 1 or 3 license with air brakes and related crew experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Class 1 or 3 driver's license with air brakes required.
• Experience with 18-speed transmission.
• Clean commercial driver’s abstract.
• Instructor-certified First Aid & H2S Alive.
• Confined Space training required.
• PCST/PST/CSTS, Fall Protection, Ground Disturbance are assets.
• Hydrovac or Combo operating experience on daylighting, plant, or pipeline HDD projects preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-employment Fit to Work and Drug & Alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment as per company and customer expectations.
• Maintain equipment in accordance with company and manufacturer rules.
• Follow the safety program, including all policies, procedures and practices.
• Complete Daily Field Tickets, Logbooks, Pre-trips, Hazard Assessments.
• Attend daily safety meetings.
• Maintain valid safety tickets as required.
• Provides leadership, guidance, and mentorship to assisting Swampers.
