Job summary

Ambipar Response Industrial Services Canada Inc. seeks a skilled Hydrovac/Combo Truck Operator for local Edmonton area projects. You will operate and maintain equipment per client specs and company rules, while following a rigorous safety program. Training opportunities are offered and a strong emphasis on teamwork and field documentation.

You will also support Swampers, attend safety briefings, and ensure tickets and inspections are up to date on each shift.

Qualifications

• Class 1 or 3 Drivers License with Air Brakes.
• 18 Speed Transmission Experience.
• Clean commercial driver's abstract.
• Instructor certified First Aid & H2S Alive.
• Confined Space.
• PCST, PST, CSTS, Fall Protection, Ground Disturbance assets.
• Hydrovac or Combo Operating Experience on Daylighting, Plant & Pipeline HDD Projects asset.
• Pass pre-employment Fit to Work & Drug Alcohol Testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment as per company and customer expectations.
• Maintain equipment in accordance with company and manufacturer rules.
• Follow the safety program, including all policies, procedures and practices.
• Complete Daily Field Tickets, Logbooks, Pre-trips, Hazard Assessments.
• Attend daily safety meetings.
• Maintain valid safety tickets as required.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to assisting Swampers.

Our services are utilized on many different projects ranging from Downhole Drilling, Pipeline HDD, Daylighting and Civil Construction Projects.

While operating our units you will have 24/7 support from our Maintenance, Safety and Operations Departments.

This application will list you as interested in operating Hydrovac and Combo Truck Units on current projects locally in the Edmonton and surrounding area.
