We are seeking a Structural Engineer – Hydropower and Dams to contribute to the planning, design, rehabilitation, and assessment of dams and hydro facilities across Canada, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural focus.
• P.Eng. in Ontario.
• Experience in hydropower, dams, or heavy civil projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and rehabilitation of hydroelectric generating stations and civil/structural infrastructure.
• Perform structural and stability analyses for hydraulic structures.
• Assist with feasibility studies, preliminary and detailed designs, technical assessments, and engineering reports.
• Participate in dam safety reviews, inspections, and condition assessments.
• Prepare engineering calculations, specifications, reports, and contract documents.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
• Review construction methods and assist with cost estimates.
• Provide engineering support during construction, including site visits.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to deliver solutions and develop technical expertise.
