Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science/Technology, Hydrogeology or Geoscience.
  • 2–4 years of progressive environmental consulting field experience.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, especially MS Word; data tabulation in Excel an asset.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for field visits.
  • Ability to work independently in the field and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct hydrogeological field work including monitoring well installations, development, testing, sampling, infiltration testing and surveying.
  • Oversee drilling programs and monitor well installations with detailed logs.
  • Program dataloggers for monitoring wells and installations.
  • Complete piezometer and staff gauge installations for ongoing monitoring.
  • Organize and tabulate analytical data and maintain client relationships.
