GEMTEC Consulting Engineers and Scientists Limited. in Fredericton, NB, invites a Hydrogeologist to join our growing NB team (Moncton, Saint John, Bathurst or Grand Falls options). You will support a wide range of hydrogeology projects, design field investigations, prepare technical proposals and reports, and develop client relationships.

A Bachelor's in earth/environmental science, NB P.Geo./P.Eng. license, 5–10 years of consulting experience, and a NB driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in earth science, environmental science or geological/geotechnical/civil engineering with an emphasis in water resources or hydrogeology.
• Professional license in NB (P.Geo. or P.Eng.) required.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience (preferably in consulting).
• Knowledge of provincial and federal regulatory frameworks for groundwater and environmental assessments is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to hydrogeology projects and prepare proposals and reports.
• Design field investigations such as drilling, logging, sampling and monitoring installations.
• Prepare technical proposals and reports including hydrogeological assessments and permit approvals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients.

Education

Bachelor's degree in earth/environmental science or geological/geotechnical/civil engineering with emphasis in water resources or hydrogeology

Professional license NB (P.Geo. or P.Eng.)
