We are seeking a Downstream Process Engineer specialized in Refinery Hydrocracking to join our Ras Tanura Refinery Engineering Department’s Technical Support Unit (TSU). This team provides high-quality technical support across our manufacturing facilities, including refineries, natural gas liquids, and petrochemical plants.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of refinery facilities using KPIs to ensure optimal operability, profitability, reliability, and safety.
  • Prepare quarterly benchmarking reports with performance analysis and improvement recommendations.
  • Support troubleshooting and operational issues within manufacturing processes.
  • Enhance product quality and reduce production costs.
  • Review operating activities and plan production schedules.
  • Conduct optimization analyses, forecasts, and economic evaluations for equipment and operations.
  • Research cost reduction strategies, set production goals, and develop operational plans.
  • Improve systems to reduce costs, meet deadlines, and troubleshoot equipment/process issues.
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Possess at least 15 years of refinery experience, including 10 years in Hydrocracker and Hydrotreating units.
  • Have thorough knowledge in Catalyst Selection & Evaluation.
Requirements

Candidate must be willing to relocate to Saudi Arabia.
