We are actively hiring an experienced Hydraulic Technician / Mechanic to join our team at our Surrey, BC branch. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for the inspection, repair, testing, and troubleshooting of hydraulic components, including pumps, motors, valves, and cylinders. You will conduct failure analysis, perform system diagnostics, and generate accurate work and test reports. The role requires both independent work and team collaboration, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality service that meets customer requirements.

This position is ideal for a technically skilled professional with a solid background in hydraulic systems who takes pride in precision work and problem-solving.

Location : Surrey, BC

Permanent full-time opportunity with OT

Schedule : Monday-Friday

Shifts : 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 am + overtime

Wage : $48 (based on experience)

You have Steel Toe Boots

Full scope knowledge of Hydraulics is a must ( a-z on hydraulic equipment; disassembly, diagnostics / failure analysis, troubleshooting, repair, refurbishment, reassembly, and testing.)

Knowledge of cylinders, motors and pumps a must for this role to meet safety requirements.

Millwright or heavy-duty mechanic training is an asset

You are legally permitted to work Fulltime in British Columbia

Responsibilities

Here are the key responsibilities and duties for the Hydraulic Technician / Mechanic role :

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications :

3-5 years of experience in hydraulics or a similar industrial field

Full scope knowledge of Hydraulics is a must ( a-z on hydraulic equipment; disassembly, diagnostics / failure analysis, troubleshooting, repair, refurbishment, reassembly, and testing.)

Knowledge of cylinders, motors and pumps a must for this role to meet safety requirements.

Knowledge of fluid power systems

Millwright or heavy-duty mechanic training is an asset

Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills

Ability to work with hydraulic components, including pumps, motors, and valves

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Proficiency in using diagnostic and testing equipment

A focus on safety and quality work

Physical and Working Conditions :

Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing physical tasks like reaching, kneeling, and standing for long periods

Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and weather elements

Work in a physically demanding environment (lifting, kneeling, standing)

Must follow safety regulations and handle equipment

Use of personal protective equipment provided
