Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Technical Program Manager to join the Video Security & Access Control Engineering org. You will lead cross-functional programs spanning hardware, firmware, cloud software, and AI analytics, reporting to the Sr.

Director of Software Engineering for Avigilon Unity. The role requires translating strategy into milestones, managing complex dependencies, and delivering scalable security solutions globally.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Technical Program Management or Engineering Leadership within a product development environment.
• Domain expertise in Physical Security (VMS/ACS), IoT, Embedded Systems, Cloud Infrastructure (AWS/Azure), or AI/Video Analytics.
• Experience working directly with executive-level leadership (VP/AVP) to align engineering output with business goals.
• Deep knowledge of SDLC and hardware development cycles; ability to operate in fast-paced global teams.
• Excellent communication of complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex programs across hardware, embedded software, cloud, and mobile teams.
• Translate business strategy into actionable technical milestones and execution plans with senior engineering leadership.
• Identify bottlenecks and constraints; develop mitigation strategies to keep programs on track.
• Dive into architecture discussions and help teams trade off scope, schedule, and technical debt.
• Provide transparent, data-driven updates to executive leadership as the single source of truth for program health, budget, and timelines.
• Improve VS&A engineering execution model; apply best practices for Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methods as needed.
