Job summary

Bentley Systems is seeking a Software Developer for Subsurface Information Management to support design, development, and release of software applications, components, and APIs enabling advanced analytics for geoscience data.

The role requires a Bachelor's in CS/Engineering and 3+ years of software development experience, with CI/CD, cloud, and containerization; hybrid work in Toronto is offered, two days in-office per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in software development positions.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with enterprise-scale data solutions and relational/no-SQL data storage.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and JSON; experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Create and document detailed designs for software applications or components.
• Design, code, verify, test, document, and refactor programs/scripts.
• Assist with release management tasks and release materials.
