Arup in Toronto or Ottawa is seeking a Senior Physical Security Consultant to lead risk-based security system design for buildings and large infrastructure projects. You will oversee a team, mentor junior staff, and drive technical excellence from concept through construction administration.

8+ years in design and field activities.
Lead security consultant/engineer role with minimum 5 years.
Management experience and ability to deliver on budget/schedule.

Responsibilities

Lead Arup’s security offering in Canada and manage a team of consultants and engineers.
Resource planning and project management across multiple design/construction projects.
Lead business development, client relationships, and bid/proposal activities.
Ensure technical and commercial delivery within scope, schedule, and budgets.
Develop security strategy and concepts for security systems.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to meet client expectations.
Review drawings/specifications and respond to RFIs and submittals.
Oversee field verification, testing, and commissioning of security systems.
