Fitch Ratings, part of Fitch Group, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Toronto-based Ratings Technology team. You will build and maintain full-stack applications with Python and React, leveraging FastAPI/Flask on the backend and modern frontend practices.

Expect to work with PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB, while deploying through CI/CD pipelines to Kubernetes on AWS. You’ll collaborate with product managers and analysts to deliver scalable, robust software, follow SOLID

Competenze

• 7+ years of hands-on experience building enterprise applications and modern web technologies in production environments.
• Strong understanding of OOP concepts, design patterns, SOLID principles, algorithms, data structures.
• Proficiency in Python (Pandas, FastAPI, Flask) for building enterprise applications, data processing, and API development.
• Hands-on experience with RDBMS databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, and AWS for automation and cloud.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
