Job summary

Leo Berwick is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to own and evolve a cloud-first environment. The role focuses on security, automation, and reliability at scale, with a hybrid work model and 1–2 days per week in the office across Canadian locations.

You will lead identity and access management, strengthen controls, and drive IT initiatives end-to-end, from planning to delivery, while collaborating with IT leadership and vendors.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in IT/Systems engineering.
• Strong experience administering Microsoft 365 in a modern cloud-first environment.
• Deep expertise in identity management, endpoint management, and security best practices.
• Proven PowerShell scripting experience.
• Experience supporting Windows and macOS environments at scale.
• Familiarity with ITSM/ticketing platforms (Freshservice, Jira, HaloITSM).

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the Microsoft 365 and endpoint environment.
• Lead identity, security, and compliance efforts across the org.
• Manage SaaS apps lifecycle, provisioning, access, and license optimization.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and reporting.
• Lead IT initiatives from planning through execution and handoff.
• Serve as senior escalation point for complex technical issues in IT ops.
