Job summary

Payworks is seeking a Sales Development Representative to engage with prospective small business clients, generate leads, qualify prospects and guide them toward tailored workforce-management solutions. You will be the first voice for many clients and will collaborate with Account Executives to ensure positive experiences and strong revenue results.

The role offers a hybrid work model in Montreal with three days in the office and flexible options for remote work when applicable.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in an inside B2B sales role or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience selling or supporting Payroll, HRMS, Workforce Management, or related technology solutions is an asset.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales metrics such as lead generation targets, conversion rates, and revenue goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive outreach to inbound leads and engage new prospects via phone, email and digital channels.
• Qualify leads, support demos and pricing discussions, and hand off to Account Executives as needed.
• Maintain CRM records and share insights with Sales and Marketing to refine messaging and strategy.
• Collaborate with partners and internal teams to ensure smooth transitions to Implementation.
