Reporting to the Executive Director of the WIHP, the RPL will collaborate with NAMP leadership, Northwestern Polytechnic, Indigenous governments and Elders to embed Indigenous ways

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic, operational, and relational leadership for Indigenous medical education, Indigenous learner success, community partnerships, and regional program development across the Northern Alberta Medical Program (NAMP).
• Establishes and sustains a strong regional presence in Northern Alberta to advance culturally responsive medical education and learners' wellbeing.
• Collaborates with NAMP leadership, Northwestern Polytechnic, Indigenous governments and organizations, Elders and Knowledge Keepers, faculty, learners, health system partners, and regional communities to embed Indigenous ways of knowing and community priorities in regional initiatives.
