Job summary

The Dufresne Group is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to test and assure the quality of its Shopify-based eCommerce platforms. You will design test plans, execute manual and automated tests, and work with Product, Design, Development and Customer Support to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in QA, experience with Agile/Scrum, and familiarity with test-management tools such as Azure DevOps, Xray or Jira.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field or combination of education and experience.
• Three+ years in a Quality Assurance role in software development.
• Experience with manual and automated testing.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of test case and defect-management tools such as Azure DevOps, Xray or Jira.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with regression, acceptance, performance, security and usability testing.
• Proficiency with test-management tools and test plan development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Development to ensure high-quality software.
• Develop and document test plans, cases and scripts.
• Conduct manual and automated testing to meet quality standards.
• Perform functional, exploratory, regression, acceptance, performance, security and usability testing.
• Identify, track and report defects with cross-functional teams.
• Improve testing processes and methodologies for high-quality delivery.
• Partner with Development, Product Management and Customer Support to enhance customer experience.
