Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Project Cost Controller to provide financial support across a portfolio of engineering and project-based work. You will manage budgets, forecasts, cost control, and performance insights to guide decision-making and drive efficiency across multiple business units.

You will report to the Senior Project Portfolio Manager and work in a hybrid role at a location in Ontario (Burlington, Peterborough, Port Elgin, or Kitchener).

Qualifications

• 5+ years in project controls, cost management, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting in a project-based environment.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and project performance reporting.
• Ability to travel occasionally within Ontario to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Support project budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, variance analysis, and financial performance monitoring.
• Maintain accurate forecasts for project costs, revenue, margins, and resource requirements.
• Monitor project and portfolio performance, highlighting risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.
• Consolidate financial data and prepare portfolio reports, forecasts, and performance summaries for leadership.
• Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools using Power BI, Excel, and BI platforms.
• Lead continuous improvement through reporting automation and standardised project controls tools.
