Minted Search Group in Etobicoke, Ontario is seeking a Personal Injury Lawyer with 2–5 years of experience to join its team. The role offers significant independence in managing tort files, including motor vehicle accident claims, with mentorship from a senior lawyer in a friendly, technology-forward environment.

You will draft pleadings, handle discovery, and communicate with clients, insurers, and experts while using Filevine and AI tools to support efficient file management.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of personal injury litigation experience, preferably gained in Ontario.
• Called to the Ontario Bar and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
• Strong drafting, advocacy, negotiation, organizational, and client-service skills.

Responsabilités

• Independently manage personal injury files from intake through resolution, with oversight.
• Handle a high-volume tort caseload, including motor vehicle accident matters.
• Draft pleadings, mediation briefs, settlement proposals, correspondence, and other litigation materials.
• Conduct examinations for discovery, mediations, motions, and settlement negotiations.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, opposing counsel, insurers, experts.
• Assess liability, damages, medical evidence, and litigation strategy.
• Use Filevine and AI tools to support efficient file management and client service.
• Contribute to growth and development of the firm's personal injury practice.
