Job summary

IM-OT Inc. in the Greater Toronto Area is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to provide client-centred assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-informed interventions to support daily living, work, and leisure.

The role combines in-person and virtual sessions with an interdisciplinary team, plus documentation, education for clients and families, and advocacy for accessible services.

Qualifications

• Clinical OT skills and ability to design client-centered treatment plans.
• Foundational knowledge in medicine and health sciences to understand complex conditions.
• Strong communication and collaboration with families and healthcare teams.
• Ontario regulatory registration required for Occupational Therapists.
• Commitment to holistic, strengths-based practice and empowerment-focused care.
• OT degree from an accredited institution; clinical experience in community/outpatient settings is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-informed interventions to support daily living, work, and leisure activities.
• Conduct in-person and virtual therapy sessions; document clinical progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and participate in team meetings.
• Provide client and family education and advocate for accessible services.
