Job summary

Apex Group Ltd offers a Middle Office Manager role in the Greater Toronto Area, blending client engagement with delivery leadership. You will own Calypso-based enhancements, coordinate end-to-end deployments, and ensure production readiness while supporting day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in middle office or trade support, strong knowledge of fixed income and derivatives, and excellent stakeholder communication. Hybrid work arrangements are possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 4+ years in middle office, operations, or trade support in finance.
• Calypso experience strongly preferred; similar systems considered.
• Strong understanding of middle office workflows and trade lifecycle.
• Knowledge of Fixed Income and Credit Derivatives (Corporate Bonds, CDS, CDX).

Responsibilities

• Own requirements and delivery for Calypso enhancements and client initiatives, end-to-end.
• Translate business needs into practical, scalable solutions across front-to-back flows.
• Coordinate testing and sign-off; ensure solutions are production-ready.
• Lead working sessions to define requirements and align on solutions.
• Provide daily production support, including periodic client EOD coverage.
• Investigate trade, valuation, PnL, and data issues across Calypso and related systems.
• Drive root cause analysis and permanent fixes.
• Balance project work, enhancements, and production issues across priorities.
