Job summary

Peoples Group is hiring for a loan operations professional to support loan enablement and compliance across Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary offices. The role involves preparing commitment letters, updating client data, and coordinating with the Funding Team to move loans from origination to funding.

With 2+ years in financial services, you’ll ensure accuracy and compliance, using MS Office and banking/CRM systems. The position offers a hybrid work environment and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in financial services, loan administration, or a related operational role.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with loan documentation and financial compliance processes.
• Experience working with internal systems and managing client data.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort with banking or CRM systems.
• Knowledge of CMHC processes and documentation is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review commitment letters and related documentation for new loans and amendments.
• Create and update client information in loan origination and banking systems.
• Maintain accurate loan data and documentation in the banking system and shared drives.
• Organize and save loan documents in appropriate folders under the commercial drive.
• Draft correspondence to CMHC regarding special conditions and compliance requirements.
• Order corporate reports, property assessments, title searches, and tax certificates as directed by Account Managers.
• Collaborate with Commercial Sales and the Funding Team to support the loan process from origination to funding.
