Job summary

A leading Canadian law firm is looking for a Legal Assistant in Vancouver to support legal professionals with practice management, client billing, and document workflow. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience as a legal assistant and strong organizational skills, with proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The role is full-time with a salary range of $55,000 – $68,000 annually and includes a hybrid work arrangement allowing flexibility for remote work.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to optimize efficiency for legal professionals.
  • Manage file opening and client account management.
  • Coordinate logistics for internal and external functions.

Skills

Proficiency with computers including advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
Superior organizational and multitasking skills
Sound judgement and analytical skills

Education

Minimum of 1 year direct experience working as a legal assistant
Exposure to M&A transactions, financings and other corporate work
