The role focuses on MySQL databases, Linux servers, and AWS infrastructure for high-volume gaming platforms, working alongside senior engineers.

The position requires 2–4 years of DBA experience, strong MySQL/SQL knowledge, and familiarity with backup/recovery.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2–4 years of database administration experience.
• Knowledge of MySQL and SQL.
• Basic Linux (Red Hat/CentOS) knowledge.
• Understanding of backups, recovery, networking fundamentals, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration and maintenance of MySQL databases.
• Monitor database health, performance, and availability.
• Perform backups, restores, and disaster recovery tasks.
• Support MySQL replication and database patching.
• Troubleshoot database performance issues.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Security teams.
• Participate in production support and on-call rotation after training.
