Job summary

Natural Factors is seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to support the management team with the preparation and analysis of financial statements while upholding the company’s seven core values, including sustainability across people, planet, and profit. The role operates on a hybrid schedule (Mon-Fri, 8:00 am–4:30 pm) and is a permanent full-time position (40 hours).

The position offers a salary range of CAD 57,000 to CAD 71,500 and benefits, RRSP, and loyalty programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Economics.
• Entry-level experience (0 – 2 years) in financial planning and analysis, accounting, taxation or treasury; fresh graduates who have co-op/internship experiences are also welcome.
• General understanding of GAAP, ASPE and the Canadian tax environment
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
• Plan to pursue CPA designation
• Prior experience with Corporate Performance management systems (OneStream, Hyperion, Anaplan) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, Syspro) is an asset

Responsibilities

• Assist with management reporting of the consolidated financial results
• Assist with detailed budget reviews of larger departmental stakeholders
• Prepare monthly financial analyses and reports such as variance analysis, price-volume-mix analysis, departmental financial reports, business unit reports, cost analysis and brand reports
• Consolidate budget submissions and ensure budgets are in line with corporate goals and initiatives
• Assist with maintaining the company’s financial reporting software (OneStream)
