Aviva Investors seeks an experienced Portfolio Manager - Fixed Income to co-manage Canadian and global fixed income strategies, and to deliver superior risk‑adjusted returns from day one. The role combines deep research, active management, and ESG integration within a global, collaborative team in Toronto.

The ideal candidate has a strong track record in fixed income analytics, portfolio construction, and leadership, with advanced degrees or CFA designation preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in building and managing fixed income portfolios.
• Strong track record in risk management and performance delivery.
• Experience with global investment grade, high yield, EM debt, or structured fixed income.

Responsibilities

• Co-manage fixed income strategies (Canadian and global) with strong risk-adjusted returns.
• Collaborate with global teams to implement investment strategies and ESG integration.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to quantitative research and risk modeling.
• Engage with Research, Investment Risk, and Distribution to drive client outcomes.
