Tundra Technical Solutions is seeking a GIS Project Officer / Project Analyst in Winnipeg to support utility infrastructure and environmental licensing projects. Hybrid work model: four days onsite and one day remote, two-year contract with potential extension.

Responsibilities include map production, data management, and coordination with GIS specialists, engineers, and environmental professionals to ensure accurate mapping outputs and timely deliverables.

Qualifications

• Two-year diploma in GIS or related discipline with four years GIS exp or a related certificate with five years GIS exp.
• Proficient with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online and enterprise GIS environments.
• Strong cartography and map production skills.

Responsabilités

• Create and update maps, figures, and web maps for environmental assessments and regulatory submissions.
• Develop, maintain, and quality-check geospatial datasets and project records.
• Collaborate with GIS specialists, environmental professionals, engineers, and teams to deliver mapping products.
• Support spatial analysis, routing, site selection, and environmental screening activities.
• Track milestones, deliverables, scopes, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Review environmental reports and engagement materials for accuracy.
• Manage competing priorities and contribute to GIS workflow improvements.
