Job summary

Open Farm in Toronto, ON is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) in Financial Reporting to ensure accurate financial statements, support month-end and year-end closes, and coordinate the annual external audit.

You will collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, cross-functional teams and external partners to strengthen internal controls, improve reporting processes, and deliver IFRS-compliant disclosures and press materials.

Qualifications

• CPA certification completed or in progress.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Downtown Toronto office 2–3 days per week.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and IFRS.
• Advanced Excel and AI skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of financial statements, and support month-end and year-end close.
• Coordinate annual external audit and liaison with auditors.
• Draft financial statements, IFRS-based MD&A, and press releases.
• Maintain internal controls and optimize reporting processes.
• Prepare reconciliations, schedules, and journal entries.
• Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A and external partners.
• Address audit findings promptly.
