Job summary

TC Energy in Canada is seeking a Project Field Work Planner to support planning and scheduling across Canada Gas Operations Projects. The role focuses on developing, optimizing, and managing project work plans aligned with operations and commercial priorities.

You will collaborate with Project Managers, Portfolio Optimization, Commercial Operations, and Field Operations to ensure resource availability and timely project delivery, with hybrid work options and a flexible dress code.

Qualifications

• Technical school graduation or associate degree in engineering technology.
• 8+ years of experience in project planning or scheduling.
• Experience with SAP CMMS for work planning.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and report on approved projects, resources, and schedules.
• Define project durations, resources, and commercial impacts with stakeholders.
• Review hours and ensure proper allocation per project.
• Coordinate outages with commercial teams.
• Identify scheduling conflicts and communicate impacts.
• Monitor execution and push for timely work orders.
• Collect data, analyze trends, and report program effectiveness.
• Support work bundling and resource planning with teams.
• Maintain project details in planning system dashboards.
