Job summary

The Heist, the motion design, live action, and post-production studio within Thinkingbox, seeks a hybrid Director of Photography and Post-Production Lead. You will move between set and edit suite, shaping how we shoot and finish content, guiding small post teams, and translating creative ideas into practical production decisions.

Bring a strong visual POV, deep production instincts, and the ability to translate concepts into camera, lighting, crew, and post choices.

Qualifications

Significant live-action and post-production experience.
Portfolio/reel showing cinematography and post workflows.
Strong on-set camera systems, lighting, and composition understanding.
Experience leading editors and cross-functional post teams.

Responsibilities

Serve as director of photography and on-set camera operator for branded content and live-action projects.
Shape visual approach with directors in pre-production, including camera packages and lighting.
Make creative and technical decisions on set to keep workflow aligned with the creative idea.
Guide projects from ingest to final delivery, including color, sound, VFX, and finishing.
Provide actionable feedback to editors, freelancers, and post partners.
