Job summary

Mars Petcare Canada seeks a Digital Merchandiser & Graphic Designer to bridge digital shelf management with hands-on graphic design. You will craft mobile-optimized assets, manage product content lifecycle, and apply Generative AI to create engaging visuals for Pepper brands across major retailer sites.

You will ensure brand consistency, collaborate with Sales and Marketing, and optimize content for conversion while meeting tight deadlines in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Graphic Design or related field.
• 2–4 years in digital merchandising or digital graphic design.
• Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; portfolio required.
• Experience with Generative AI tools for content ideation.
• Familiar with vendor platforms like Amazon Vendor Central and Salsify.
• Pet-care knowledge and understanding of shopper journeys.
• Strong data-to-visual storytelling and brand compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end management of digital product catalogues across major retailers.
• Manage data lifecycle in Salsify PXM, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Publish optimized content to retailer endpoints with retailer schemas.
• Ingest and enrich data from ERP/PLM/DAM into Salsify.
• Serve as SME for Salsify, Amazon Vendor Central, Walmart Supplier One.
• Audit listings and resolve catalog issues and out-of-date assets.
• Drive Perfect Digital Store execution and improve search visibility.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to launch new SKUs with assets.
