Job summary

Systematix group in Ottawa is seeking a DevSecOps Specialist for a 1-year hybrid contract with a public sector client. The role requires an active Government of Canada Secret (Level II) clearance and on-site engagement up to 12 days per month.

You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Advanced Security, and Nexus, automate deployments, and support operational excellence across environments. Start anticipated November 2026.

Qualifications

• University degree or college diploma in computer science, or software development.
• Minimum 7 years in QA for automation and deployments.
• Minimum 5 years DevSecOps, CI/CD practices in enterprise environments.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on Azure experience.
• Minimum 3 years troubleshooting complex issues with business apps and infra.

Responsibilities

• Develop scripts and pipelines in release processes and deployments.
• Resolve complex operational issues leveraging infra and apps knowledge.
• Enhance automation and adopt best practices for operations excellence.
• Contribute technical expertise within scrum teams and share knowledge.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Advanced Security and Nexus.
