The successful candidate will manage critical database systems, optimize performance, and support enterprise-level applications across Capital Markets and Retail Banking. Qualifications include 5–7 years of database administration experience and proficiency in PostgreSQL. This position also involves incident management and collaboration with other technical teams.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in Oracle GoldenGate or Azure Cloud database administration.
• 2+ years of experience with PostgreSQL.
• Strong skills in database setup, installation, and configuration.
• Expertise in tuning, query optimization, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with cloud migration projects.
• Knowledge of backup, restore, and recovery strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical resolutions for production incidents and communicate complex issues to stakeholders.
• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and resource management.
• Implement and maintain database security policies.
• Support RAC, high availability, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Automate database monitoring and maintenance tasks.
• Participate in incident management, change control, and root cause analysis.
• Provide on-call rotational support and collaborate with teams.
