Job summary

Specsavers is seeking a Data Delivery Manager in Burnaby to lead data product delivery across retail, clinical, and supply chain functions. The role partners with product owners, architects, and technical teams to drive high-quality outcomes and manage delivery risks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years delivering data products in a matrixed environment.
• Proven track record delivering data projects in fast-paced settings.
• Experience managing medium-to-large projects or portfolios.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery methods.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of data platforms like Databricks, Azure Data Factory and Power BI.
• Awareness of GDPR and data governance principles.
• Relevant certifications (Agile, Scrum, PMI, etc.) are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of data projects across multiple business areas.
• Guide one or more data delivery teams to ensure quality and value.
• Develop and maintain delivery plans balancing capacity and timelines.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and teams to prioritize backlogs.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and promote team transparency.
• Monitor progress, risks, dependencies, and changes in scope.
• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Ensure testing across functional, regression, UAT, and performance.
