Job summary

Vantage is seeking a Solutions Architect to design and implement data center solutions with a focus on electrical and mechanical infrastructure. You will engage with clients to capture requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and provide leadership across the project lifecycle.

The role requires strong problem solving, exceptional communication, and collaboration with Design Engineering, Construction, Operations and Legal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• 5–7 years in a customer-facing technical or sales engineering role supporting electrical and mechanical data center solutions.
• Experience with Telecom and networking.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Ability to design scalable and reliable data center solutions.
• Travel up to 5% is expected.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect data center solutions focusing on electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
• Engage with clients to understand business needs and translate into technical specifications.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
• Partner with Design Engineering, Construction, Operations, Commercial, Legal and other departments to ensure delivery.
• Evaluate technologies and stay up-to-date with data center industry trends.
• Lead proof-of-concept initiatives and oversee testing and validation.
