Job summary

The Town of Caledon is seeking a Specialist, Cybersecurity and Resilience to strengthen the organization’s cyber posture. Reporting to IT Operations, the role focuses on implementing security controls, training programs, and incident response planning aligned with NIST and industry best practices.

The position requires a post-secondary diploma in Information Security or related field, 5+ years of cybersecurity experience, and ITIL Foundation certification.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma in Information Security or Computer Science.
• ITIL Foundation certification is required.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, PMP are assets.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to security events with IT teams.
• Design, implement and support cybersecurity solutions.
• Assess vulnerabilities and threats across systems and networks.
• Lead in emergency management and incident response activities.
