Job summary

Petra Funds Group is seeking a Credit Operations Associate to support operational, accounting, and reporting functions for private credit funds and related vehicles. You will work closely with investment, finance, and investor relations teams to ensure accurate processing of fund transactions and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of accounting experience, strong US GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel skills. A CPA is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably with private equity, partnerships, or alternative assets.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to build advanced spreadsheets.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and familiarity with fund accounting.
• Excellent analytical, planning, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain client investment book of record by processing loan activity and related cash flows.
• Review loan documents to settle trades in the portfolio system.
• Reconcile portfolio cash and positions daily.
• Monitor covenants and compliance reporting deliverables.
• Assist with audits and regulatory reporting and support fund administration activities.
