Job summary

Calgary law firm is seeking a Corporate Solicitor with 4-6 years of experience to join its growing Corporate/Commercial team. You will advise clients on a broad range of matters and work with a diverse client base including financial institutions, private businesses, investors, and entrepreneurs.

You will draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements, assist with financing and lending matters, and support mergers and reorganizations. Hybrid work flexibility offered.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of corporate solicitor experience.
• Experience in corporate/commercial law with exposure to financial services or banking matters preferred.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and client relationship abilities.
• Active membership, or eligibility for membership, with the Law Society of Alberta.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on corporate and commercial matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and documents.
• Assist with financing transactions, secured lending, and financial services matters.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, and corporate restructurings.
• Provide strategic legal advice to clients across industries.
