Job summary

The Wawanesa Mutual Insurance Company in Canada is seeking a Compliance, Risk & Controls Advisor for Personal Lines to establish and mature risk, control and compliance frameworks across our Personal Lines operations. You will lead the RCSA program, maintain inventories, and coordinate key activities with internal stakeholders.

Reporting to the Director, Compliance, Risk and Controls - Personal Lines, you will drive regulatory readiness, monitor developments, and work with partners to improve

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Insurance, P&C Personal Lines operations.
• Experience addressing regulatory and audit issues for Personal Lines.
• Strong analytical skills to assess risk and improve controls.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• CRM/CIP/FCIP designation would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Establish and mature the Personal Lines risk, control and compliance framework.
• Lead the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) program.
• Maintain risk and controls inventories and governance documents.
• Develop and oversee control monitoring, testing, reporting and remediation.
• Lead regulatory readiness activities and drive governance improvements.
