Job summary

Bombardier in Montreal seeks a Professional Engineer in Materials & Processes to support Global Completions. You will perform diverse engineering tasks, develop test plans, and review materials and processes specifications.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, review drawings, and contribute to process optimization while ensuring compliance with aerospace standards. Fluency in English and French is required; CATIA V5 and MS Office experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Materials, Mechanical or Chemical engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in M&P in aerospace/military production.
• Knowledge of aircraft interior materials and processes.
• Familiar with CMH-17, MIL specs, Federal regulations, ISO/SAE.
• Flammability requirements per FAR 25.
• Proficient in engineering design and drawing reviews.
• Strong organizing and project planning skills.
• Excellent English and French communication.
• CATIA V5 and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform a diversified range of engineering tasks in M&P for Global Completions.
• Develop test plans, work with labs, analyze results and review reports.
• Write and review Materials & Processes specifications.
• Review and approve engineering drawings and change documentation.
• Support innovation projects and environmental regulations compliance.
• Handle multiple issues and provide regular status updates.
• Participate in process optimization and cost reduction initiatives.
• Provide technical expertise in metals, surface treatments, polymers, coatings, upholstery, leather, woodworking and interior flammability.
