Job summary

Teen Challenge Canada in Renfrew, Ontario, is seeking a full-time Addictions Counsellor for the Eastern Ontario Men’s Centre. This hybrid position combines in-person and remote work, with pay arranged based on experience and education.

You will provide individual counselling, develop treatment plans, lead group sessions, and support relapse prevention within Teen Challenge’s faith-based program, incorporating Christian principles and essential counselling standards.

Qualifications

• CCACF or equivalent counselling designation required.
• Experience providing one-on-one therapeutic counselling.
• Ability to write and implement treatment plans.
• Comfort integrating Christian principles with therapy.
• Ability to provide group sessions and relapse prevention.
