Job summary

Adult & Teen Challenge of Central Canada is seeking a Program Coordinator to mentor clients, provide recovery support, and guide the program's culture within the In Residence Programs department.

This Christ-centered, non-profit ministry emphasizes discipleship, accountability, and personal growth, with responsibilities spanning curriculum facilitation, family communication, and reporting to leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in addiction recovery, ministry, social services, or residential care is asset.
• Possess or willing to obtain post secondary credentials in ministry and/or counseling.
• Experience with and knowledge of computer systems and web based programs.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a clear Vulnerable Sector Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one mentorship and accountability to assigned clients.
• Build healthy supportive relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Monitor client progress, behaviours, goals, and participation within the program.
• Teach and facilitate recovery groups, classes, devotions, and program curriculum.
• Develop and oversee customized personal study and recovery plans for clients.
• Maintain appropriate communication with client families and support systems.
• Model Christ-centered leadership and spiritual mentorship.
