Position Title : HVAC Technician

Status : Permanent, Full-Time

Location : Kingston, ON

Compensation : $35.26

Overview of Role

Our client is seeking an HVAC Technician to join their Kingston team, who is open to ongoing growth opportunities within the organization. Your Day-to-Day :
  • Responsible for professionally servicing HVAC equipment and accessory items in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes.
  • Ensure the safe operation of all new installations and properly instruct customers on care and maintenance.
  • Adhere to all safety rules, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other duties as required by supervisor or designate.
What You Bring to this Position :
  • High School Diploma, minimum requirement.
  • Gas Technician II License, requirement.
  • Certificate of Qualification as an Air Conditioning Mechanic (Ontario – D), required.
  • Valid Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) card, required.
  • Class G Driver’s License, required.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in servicing Water Heaters and HVAC equipment, an asset.
  • Physically capable of performing all work required, including occasional lifting of 15 kg, bending, squatting/kneeling, and working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions, sometimes in dusty or slippery environments.
  • Willing and able to work rotating shifts and standby duties as required.
  • Ability to understand and learn new technologies (e.g., electronics, electricity).
