HVAC Technician Helper

Job Description

We are looking for a HVAC Technician having a minimum of 1-2 years field experience with the following skill sets:

• Have an in-depth understanding of refrigerant cycles and how compressors work.
• Be EPA certified.
• Know how to read refrigerant gauges.
• Flare and swedge copper pipe.
• Recover refrigerant.
• Charge a system with refrigerant.
• Braze pipe.
• Solder pipe.
• Know how to measure accurately.
• Familiar with the use of a multimeter.
• Familiar with duct work.

Must have a desire to learn and take pride in their work, which should be visible in the quality of their output. Candidates should be organized, punctual, and have a clean driving record. Ability to keep vehicles organized is essential. We are looking for team members who are not afraid of responsibility and love what they do.

The position requires working 2 Saturdays a month, with Monday-Friday hours usually consisting of 10-12 hours per day during peak season. More about these shifts can be discussed during the interview. Applicants will be required to pass a small verbal exam. We look forward to speaking with you.
