Ideal Heating & Air Conditioning provides maintenance services, repairs and installations of heating, air conditioning and ventilation equipment in Toronto and the GTA. We offer complete HVAC service in the greater Toronto area. Base pay range

CA$31.00 / hr - CA$35.00 / hr

Qualifications

• Valid G1 Gas Technician License (Ontario)
• Valid 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic License (preferred)
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on HVAC service and installation experience
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and controls (residential and commercial)
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License with clean driving record

Skills & Abilities

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for HVAC equipment and controls
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Proficiency in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems
• Familiarity with electrical systems related to HVAC work
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to handle demanding workloads

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, service, and maintenance of furnaces, boilers, air conditioners, rooftop units, and other HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment and controls
• Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with TSSA and other applicable codes
• Complete required service documentation and reports accurately
• Provide technical support and guidance to apprentices or junior technicians
• Maintain company tools, vehicle, and equipment in proper working order
• Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
