Daryl-Evans Mechanical Services is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and be proficient in installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial HVAC equipment in a service setting. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and troubleshooting skills, a solutions based and proactive approach that is willing to go above and beyond for the customer.

Requirements

  • Red Seal HVAC / R Certification
  • B Gas Ticket
  • A Gas Ticket considered an asset
  • Class 5 driver's license
  • Clean driving record
  • Strong Customer Service skills
  • Passionate and driven individual
  • Good inter-personal skills
  • Effective time management
  • Troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Install, commission and maintain industrial and commercial HVAC equipment in a service setting
  • Diagnose and repair electronic and mechanical components of HVAC systems
  • Assembling quotations as required for Customers
  • Document all work performed in compliance with company standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with Dispatch and Service Coordination team daily
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication
  • Travel within the Lower Mainland
  • Perform other HVAC duties as assigned and scheduled
  • Qualifications and Skills

  • Ticketed Journeyperson HVAC / R
  • Able to quickly and efficiently troubleshoot problems
  • Experience with installations of various types of HVAC equipment
  • Commissioning of new equipment and generating reports
  • Experience with building maintenance / scheduled maintenance programs
  • Positive attitude with strong communication skills
  • Possess strong problem solving and innovative abilities
  • Ability to follow proper safety practices and procedures
  • Ability to work independently
