Job description

My client offers a highly secure, clean, and climate-controlled manufacturing environment. The facility is designed with safety and operational efficiency in mind and spans a large footprint, requiring team members to be flexible and mobile throughout the site.

Team Overview:
The selected candidate will be part of an onsite maintenance team responsible for ensuring smooth facility operations and responding to maintenance needs across the property.

Typical Working Day:

• Work at a large-scale manufacturing facility (approx. 900,000 sq. ft. on 500 acres)

• Hands-on, varied tasks including fence repair, ventilator maintenance, changing motors, and adjusting fan belts

• A generalist maintenance role requiring strong mechanical aptitude

• Must be comfortable performing manual work in different parts of the facility

Must-Have Skills:

• Proven mechanical maintenance experience

• Valid driver’s license (required due to lack of public transit)

• Experience in HVAC systems and refrigeration maintenance, particularly in grocery or supermarket settings

• Possession of a valid 313A refrigeration license (mandatory)

• Background in Electromechanics (recognized title in Quebec)

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Welding skills or experience
