The HVAC Technical Support Advisor will work with the technical services and product management teams to provide technical after-sales service to HVAC-R technicians and to proactively help deliver training to customers and staff. This position provides support to partners in Western Canada and is a hybrid role based in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, or British Columbia. Travel is required.

What you will accomplish with us:
  • Provide local tech support for our factory partner brands.
  • Assist customers with troubleshooting HVAC&R equipment via phone, video conference, and site visits.
  • Help resolve technical issues related to labor and material claims between contractors, Master Group, and manufacturers.
  • Facilitate start-ups of HVAC and VRF equipment.
  • Serve as a technical resource to the Master Group sales teams.
  • Prepare and deliver technical training as directed by the product management director.
  • Represent Master Group Inc professionally when interacting with internal teams, customers, and building owners.
What You Bring to Our Team:
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Diploma in HVAC-R or related field from a technical institute or college.
  • 5-10 years of field experience in the HVAC-R industry.
  • Troubleshooting skills for mechanical HVAC-R equipment and controls.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and manufacturer-specific software.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team environment and under pressure.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Initiative and resourcefulness.
  • Basic understanding of electrical wiring schematics and building mechanical plans.
  • Professionalism, diplomacy, and courtesy.
  • Report writing skills and comfort presenting technical and training material.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Compensation:

Base Salary Range: $70,000 - $95,000 annually.

Additional compensation includes: annual bonus.
