Responsibilities
Installation
- install, maintain and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning and service plumbing for residential and / or commercial building clients.
- Work with and interpret blueprints, schematics and other technical documents. Install electrical components and wiring.
- Test, calibrate and ensure optimal performance and functionality.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Maintenance, Troubleshooting & Repair
- Perform routine maintenance on various HVAC equipment, such as chillers, boilers, air handling units and refrigeration systems. Clean, inspect, lubricate and check for wear and tear. Perform warranty services.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctioning HVAC systems, including electrical, mechanical, refrigeration and control system issues. Identify and resolve problems using diagnostic tools and technical knowledge.
- Adjust system settings, calibrate controls and optimize airflow to improve energy efficiency and comfort.
Customer Service
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate with clients about system performance, maintenance needs and repair recommendations.
- Collaborate and work with team members, other trades, consultants and stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Maintain and submit accurate records of all work performed, including service dates, parts used and repairs made.
- Be committed to building and maintaining an up to date knowledge of the latest advancements and best practices in HVAC technology.
The successful applicant will bring :
- Journeyperson certificate preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of HVAC in residential / commercial settings.
- Experience working on job sites.
- Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues, ensuring optimal system performance and customer satisfaction. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Detail oriented with excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and knowledge of safety regulations.
- Experience with diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
- Strong understanding of HVAC controls and automation.
- Motivated team player, customer service driven and have a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; able to communicate technical information clearly to clients and colleagues.

Hours
Mon-Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (40 hours / week). Overtime as required to meet project needs.
Travel
Travel to job sites in Regina, and south Sask; not typically overnight. (Sometimes work outside of Regina and in Alberta and Manitoba).
