Job description

Are you an HVAC Technician interested in transitioning from the contracting world to work for a manufacturer's representative?

You will be provided with all necessary equipment and tools, access to unmatched training opportunities with manufacturing partners, and long-term career stability and growth with a trusted name in the HVAC industry across North America.

This HVAC Service Technician role involves providing post-sales support for all represented manufacturers. Success in this position requires being detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused.

Salary Range: $105,000 - $115,000

Responsibilities include:
  • Performing equipment startup and commissioning as required.
  • Completing start-up reports and submitting them to the project’s sales representative.
  • Conducting on-site owner training for sold equipment.
  • Assisting sales with troubleshooting equipment issues.
  • Attending vendor training, which may require travel within Canada and to the U.S.
  • Participating in office meetings as needed.
  • Providing timely and knowledgeable communication and support to internal and external customers.
  • Identifying sales opportunities during service work and referring them to the sales team.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management.
Ideal candidate qualifications:
  • Journeyman refrigeration/HVAC technician with Class A or B gas fitter certification.
  • Minimum five years of relevant HVAC experience.
  • Ability to interpret electrical wiring diagrams and control sequences.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team across multiple sites.
  • Valid passport and willingness to travel within Canada and the U.S.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, especially under stress.
  • Proficient with project planning tools and software like Microsoft Office suite.
  • Positive attitude, reliable attendance, and a team-oriented mindset.
